While Dungeons & Dragons’ huge OGL stumble didn’t quite convert the game’s captive audience to the hundreds of other (very good) TTRPGs out there, it’s still caused a resurgence of people checking out other games.

It also prompted several creators (like the minds behind The MCDM RPG) to start doing their own thing—both to capitalise on some freshly curious players, and to avoid a scenario where a game with an uncertain future is vital to their livelihood.

MCDM is a company started by Matthew Colville, most known for his D&D videos on YouTube. It’s produced several popular supplements for D&D’s 5th edition (5e) such as Strongholds & Followers, which fleshes out the game’s understaffed mechanics for base building.

The MCDM RPG itself was announced by Colville back in February: “our goal is to make something tactical and cinematic … heroic fantasy, mostly fighting monsters, with like two other gameplay pillars we think are important.”

The game directly wants to get all the fuss out of your dungeon crawling. While 5e streamlined all of this considerably, it still has a lot of holdovers—such as lengthy equip…

The PTR development notes for Patch 10.1.5 have dropped, and while the new Evoker specialisation is naturally stealing the spotlight, there’s a whole host of other buffs to the gameplay experience that you shouldn’t sleep on.

The most exciting news comes from the determined dataminers over at Wowhead. While we know from a past interview with Morgan Day that Dragonriding is “here to stay”, a huge list of achievements and animations have been excavated from the current PTR build, and they suggest that old-world Dragonriding is just around the corner.

I completed the gold trials as soon as I’d maxed out my dragon glyphs, so the prospect of dozens of new races has me giddy to get behind the reins again. Collectors will also be pleased to hear that over 100 mounts look to be getting compatibility updates with the Dragonriding system, letting you use your shiny status symbols both in and out of the Dragon Isles.

It’s not been confirmed if these additions will be coming in patch 10.1.5, or if they’ll be slated for a later date. Considering how loud players have been—ourselves included—about keeping Dragonriding around, you’d have thought Blizza…

What is it about the Modern Warfare games producing the most cursed-looking movement glitches, lately? There was the horrifying “G walk” in MW2, which looked like your character was breaking out an all fours to tear into someone’s jugular, and this ‘Superman’ glitch from the same year that made you look like a Hunter from Left 4 Dead.

Now Modern Warfare 3 continues this unholy tradition by letting players wriggle across the ground at top speeds. Before I get into how this is happening, here’s a clip of it in action, courtesy of vvinta_ (Winter) on Twitter, who becomes an actual snake on a plane as she slithers towards her enemy:

According to this rundown by YouTuber Rehtycs, you can ‘snake’ by first turning on automatic sprint in your movement settings. Then, head into advanced keybinds and change your Stance Down bind to scroll wheel up (with the delay set at zero). Run, jump, scroll your mouse wheel up while you’re in midair, and you’ve become a snake. Hiss.

This isn’t even the first time you’ve been able to go serpentine in a Call of Duty game—Black Ops 1 had a similar glitch back in the day. It’s just as busted now as it was back then. Movement is a h…
